I don't know why these two are posted together. Nonetheless, I adore the first one with its implicit commentary on relationships in the period. As for "Rescue Me," I have always loved that song. For some reason, I didn't even realize it was 60s because that is how much I continued to listen to it throughout my life. I think it must have been re-recorded a lot. Will check it out. Like what she says about it in that documentary about it--thought you sent that to me too. Or this it?
Also, what am i saying. They are both Fontella Bass. And I like the juxtaoposition. It is very odd. It is not easy for me to remember. I got so I knew I was really confused about who did what when I put together that dance tape for the party, because I just didn't know what to get. This would have been a good one, although there are numerous version.
I am not sure but I think I took the other off because it wasn't relevant and also it was dead.
